In last week’s column I dealt with the strained — to say the least — rationale behind the conclusion that the fellows who devastated Mumbai were not “evil.” On reflection, my effort was unnecessary because I seriously doubt that anyone (other, possibly, than a radical wing-nut) really bought into the argument that America was the real culprit in Mumbai. However, having gone this far, let’s just finish up with a somewhat cursory (which is all that is required) look at the facts which absolve the “terrorists” (forgive me, I like to call a spade a spade) of any wrongdoing that might be considered “evil” and that allegedly justify placing the blame where it belongs — squarely on America’s shoulders — the facts being a m
